More Signed Timmy Books

In honor of my new kids book Timmy Failure spending its sixth week on the New York Times Bestsellers list, I just went to my local independent bookstore, Copperfield’s Books, and signed a whole bunch MORE Timmy books (and drew Timmy or Total in each of them). To get a signed book, just call 707 578-8938.

And remember:  When I die, they’ll be worth serious cash.

  1. Stephan:

Just called and they’re sending me a copy. I can’t wait.

    Your biggest fan.

  2. Stephan –

Just got my signed Timmy Failure in the mail. Thanks for signing it and for giving me a Timmy.

I can’t wait to delve in.

    You’re my hero.

  3. That last bit about calling soon, is that some sort of way to make more money because it got me. Love your stuff. Btw, on average how long would you say it takes you to draw one comic strip? Thanks, Big Fan!!!

  4. Just called and ordered a signed copy for my eleven year old son. Then patted myself on the back because I’m taking full credit for raising an eleven year old boy who is super excited about books. Then stopped patting the back because I remembered all of the times he has quoted Rat at school and I had to explain myself. Then completed the pat because he obviously has an excellent sense of humor so I’m going to take full credit for that, too.

I was just going to comment that I happily ordered the book for my son. This comment kind of got away from me.

  5. Just called and ordered a signed copy for my eleven-year-old son. Then I patted myself on the back and mentally applauded myself for raising an eleven-year-old boy who gets extremely excited about new books. Then I paused the back patting because I remembered all of the times that he quoted Rat at school and I had to explain. Then I finished the back patting because he obviously has an excellent sense of humor and I’m taking full credit for that, too.

I honestly just planned on saying that I ordered my copy. This comment kind of got away from me.

  6. Hi, Just read “Timmy Failure” and loved it. And I’m 31 years old🙂 I had to go buy it, a definite keeper.
As a reader and aspiring writer myself, would love to know your favorite reads and recent reads. Especially MG recommendations. Thanks for writing such a great book, looking forward to #2 and many more….and off to find the Pearls of Swine because now I need to read all your stuff.
Not sure if you still update this blog, but couldn’t find any other website for you.

  7. i got this book as a gift. free pastis=awesomer than payed pastis

  8. I think this blog is dead….

how long can one not blog before it’s dead?

    dunno…

  9. When will you sign up with comics?? My newspaper is going to stop 7 day delivery (Cleveland Plain Dealer). I don’t want to miss a strip!

  10. Ah my gosh. Stephan Pastis has a blog. Any resemblance to Goat here? ;3
I am obsessed with Pearls Before Swine. I absolutely love it. Every day I read the paper and almost cry at how lame some strips are, then I read yours and think, “There is hope!”
And…you would think I would be slightly more profound, since I have finally gotten the chance to leave a message to my favorite cartoonist, but… I sound like Pig trying to write one of his (unsuccessful and awkward) letters to Pigita. xD But anyway. I really love what your doing with Pearls, and I hope you continue it. You make my day.

  11. You are sick. Keep it up. You have replaced Calvin and Hobbs as best comic strip of all time. Bravo!

  12. My 7 year-old daughter absolutely LOVED your book Timmy Failure Mistakes Were Made. She wants to know if you will write any more books.
Also she wants to attend an Atlanta tour date – I think in March. I was searching it on your site…
