I am returning to my Old Kentucky Home for two book signings. (Actually, I never lived there. I just couldn’t think of another song with Kentucky in the title).
Thursday, 11/8, Louisville, KY
- 7:00pm, Barnes & Noble, 4100 Summit Plaza Drive, Louisville, KY 40241
Saturday, 11/10, Frankfort, KY
- 10:30 am, Kentucky Book Fair, Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero St., Frankfort, KY
So come out and see me and make me feel at home anyways.
And please, this being Kentucky, bring Bourbon.
Hey, if any of you live in the East Bay, I’m speaking and signing books tonight at Books, Inc. in Alameda (1344 Park Street).
I’ll be the one with the backwards cap and cheesy goatee. Beer optional. Pants mandatory.
On a totally unrelated note, I often write Pearls while sitting on abandoned railroad tracks and listening to loud music on my iPhone.
Today, I saw this coming down the tracks.
So, lesson for today: If you’re going to write comic strips on abandoned railroad tracks, make sure they’re really abandoned.
For those of you who live in cities I wasn’t able to get to on the tour, I just signed a bunch of books (and drew a character in each) at my local Barnes and Noble in Santa Rosa.
Call (707) 576-7494 to order and they’ll ship them to you.
But call now because they tend to go fast.
